  We are always searching for something on the beach, and of ciurse around and around I go looking for a room by the water. From the minute I called it was easy! And yes I have photos of our stay to prove the awesomeness of this stay!!! From the Management team to the property to the location, to the firepit, we loved it and will stay a week next time!! It is close to grocery store, lego land, the freeway to go everywhere! The only downside is I had to get used to a few people walking in the dirt in front of the bungelow. I like walking around less than dressed. We so loved it there!!

  Ron and I have been staying at the same location for several years now and over those years we have had many come by from San Antonio/Universal City, Texas while they were vacationing and visiting family and friends. One of the boys now tells his mom and dad that he wants to go to Pastor Ron's beach again this summer.
  Ron and I are very satisfied with the location; our back yard is the ocean; peaceful and serene, beautiful and magnificient; we see God's handiwork all around. Just think, He says that His thoughts towards us outnumber the grains of sand on all the seashores, He told the ocean that its waters could only go so far, He gave the fish the paths in the sea to swim. Almost daily I saw dolphins, and they were swimming about the same distance from the shore each time. The sunsets are outstanding; His great handiwork. I could go on and on.
  The Beachfrontonly staff are very professional and courteous, from the reservationist to the maintenance people. If ever there has been a need, the response is always very timely.
  Our hope is that we can stay with them for many years to come.
  I have recommended Beachfrontonly to friends, family and strangers.

  We did however, have a few nieghbor kids knock on the window and door a few times and run away...Harmless kid fun but it got old after the second day... They lived just north of the property, Management should talk with their parents...

  We loved it so much we came back again. We loved listening to the ocean, during the day & going to sleep by. We traveled a little north along the coast and took a day trip to Palm Springs. We walked many miles, the beach, farmer's market, Thurs evening market is a great place for supper. The fire pit is a great plus, we met so many wonderful people there. Hot dogs over the fire was great.

  When I made the reservation on the telephone the agent that helped me was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The property is in an excellent location, probably one of the best locations in Oceanside. It is a very Quiet beach and thanks to the deck overlooking the Ocean you get to talk to all the friendly locals walking by. I was in a wheelchair so the deck was the perfect place for me to spend a week just relaxing looking at the beautiful view. The fact that they take pets is wonderful, my Chihuahua had the time of her life with all the other dogs walking by. The property is old, actually the oldest on that stretch of beach. But the place was clean and comfortable. As usual I brought everything I thought I would need but found that this unit was actually one of the best supplied units I have rented when it came to trash bags, cleaning supplies, toilet paper etc... On the downside the biggest problem was the so called wireless internet. If you have to have internet service don't stay here. I could not get onto the internet at all and the wireless router listed in the guest book was non existent. I ended up having to close my business during my stay. Other negatives not so important. The TV could use updating it is only about 22 inches and very old. No music people, not even a clock radio so bring your own radio. I would certainly recommend this property to people who are not looking for a lot of luxury. Just a nice escape for a few days on the beach with an excellent view. I will certainly use this property management company again in the future only I would upgrade to one of there better properties. I worked in property management for many years and I usually have plenty of negative things to say when the management company is not up to par.I found Beachfront only were professional, caring and very efficient.
  If you vacation with them you are sure to have a wonderful holiday!

  We really had a great time in our condo on the beach in Oceanside. We took our daughter and her husband and our two grandsons for a week vacation and the boys just loved being that close to the ocean!!We all did!! It was great!! We'd do it all again in a heartbeat!!It was also close enough to go to Disneyland and Sea World!! A wonderful experience for our grandsons!! Thank you for everything.

  I love this place, as well as the other units I've stayed in here. The location is terrific, the ocean & beach is directly in front, those waves and salt air & sound of the surf is a perfect way to really relax. This particular unit is 2 bedrooms, right on the beach with a little enclosed deck with picnic table, stepping down to a Weber charcol grill & gate onto the path in front of the beach.
  Plenty of casual family meals and a great time.

  We stayed 4 days at the beach with our dog for a much needed break after the tragic death of our son in an airplane accident. It was a great stay at first sight my husband was a little disappointed but he loved it once we settled in. The carpet had a few stains tile, would work better at the beach! Upon checking out we were given a 10% discount for rebooking so we booked the unit next door for Oct. We really did not need a 2 bedroom but only one available for our March booking, Our dog will miss the deck in Oct! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.

  The condo was a great place. The accomodations were fine. For an older building, everything was fine. We had a bad storm for 2 days and the front door and the sliding glass door both allowed water to to come in. I reported this already, but the track for the sliding door needs a way to let the water out so it won't come into the condo and ruin the carpet. Also, the laundry room door was broken while we were thee. Besides that, it was very nice.

  My stay at this property was great. It was right on the beach. The back patio looked out at the beach and was a great place to relax at the end of the day and watch the sunset.   We had a great time! We will make this place our place to stay every year. The inside is completely redone and very clean. Beds both very comfortable. Perfect size and location, right on the beach. You can walk right off your small private patio onto the beach! The Pier is a 15 min beach or path walk where you can eat at Ruby's, good food. I liked sitting on our patio to watch surfers and dolphins ride the waves. Fun!

  We have stayed here before and loved it each time. The place is immaculate! We keep seeing the signs posted that the 835 building will be torn down and replaced. I hope that doesn't happen. These bungalows are affordable and perfect for our family. We will be back!

  We were very happy with the rental. The sofa sleeper was really bad, we all tried to sleep on it and couldn't. We loved that the ocean was right outside the front door! It was convenient to the pier,grocery store and freeways. We would stay here again but not book several months in advance. The people in the rental next to us paid $99 a night for last minute resverations and we were charged almost twice that for booking 6 months in advance. it was still overall a great place to stay.

    The reason #4 is more expensive is because it is a 2br. The normal rate during LOW season for one of our 1 bedrooms (which includes #9 which is directly next door to #4) is $99 per night.   Your Place was wonderful,it had a few things missing but because of the location, who cares. The place was clean and very charming. The price was a bit high but well worth the location. The only negative thing was the mirror in the bathroom was not tall enough for my husband, he's 6'1 and it was made just for me, I'm 5'2 If we ever get back that way, I would gladly stay there again.   We had a very nice stay at this house. The view was fantastic! Pretty much everything we needed was there; dishes, cookware, towels. The only thing I didnt really think about was having to supply extra toilet paper. I thought they supplied this like a hotel. No biggie, but since we stayed a whole week, I had to go get some more. Plenty of room for our family. The windows and back door are pretty old and were a little hard to open and close, but once they were, it was fine. Anytime I would call for anything, they were very courteous and helpful. Great customer service.

  We had a wonderful time at this beach front quaint rental. It is right on the beach the smell and the view of the ocean was relaxing and refreshing we will return time and time again. Oh and the enclosed patio was wonderful for our 2 small pomeranian dogs.

  We found Beachfront only vacations at the last minute and couldn't have been happier. The small cottage-like house was just incredible. All new appliances worked great and everything was super clean. The bedrooms were good size and the living area was more than adequate. If there is a way to have a phone in the units that would add just that much more to it, so we had to walk around the corner to a payphone to make calls that we didn't want to use our cell phone for (we have a Canadian cell plan, so using the cell would cost alot. If you have a phone in the US it might not be a big deal). In spite of that one drawback, the rest of the amenities more than made up for it. Step off the front deck and we were on the beach. The city of Oceanside is a great center for seeing any of the attractions that Southern California has to offer. I lost count of the number of times we walked up and down the beach. The office staff were all so incredibly friendly and helpful. Since we were there in "low season" the rates were absolutely spectacular making the stay that much more enjoyable. We are definitely coming back next year!

  Nice enough for some. We'd look for a little more upgraded property next time. Beach access not great. Granite counter tops, does not make for an updated kitchen. Windows in poor condition as well as the cabinets. Stains on some towels. Would not stay again. Worth spending a few more dollars else where. Would try another of their properties.

  The biggest bummer was checking in and having the carpets still wet from cleaning. It was on the chilly side so, it was not conducive to having the windows wide open to help dry them. They were wet for a couple days.
  
  Besides that, the location, right on the beach was awesome and, it did not have the traffic and busyness of The Strand which we appreciated.
  
  The sliding door is in need of some serious attention as it was a chore to open and, it leaked water at the base when it rained.
  
  All in all though we found the cottage very comfortable and nice and would certainly consider the same spot in future visits to Oceanside.

  When we arrived, the rental was not very clean and the door would not stay locked. While we were disappointed, the management was very helpful and allowed us to move into another unit. The next unit was much cleaner and the door stayed locked!! Also, the location is great!

  The Property Manager should inform tenant the the adjacent property was under heavy construction for entire week ( heavy demolition starting at 7am daily). Additionaly, no sheets were provided for hide-a-bed, Internet did not work, and exterior sliding doors could not be opened by women or children.

  Good place for a relaxing casual beach stay. Linens and kitchen utensils need to be renewed. No one greeted us, called during our stay or checked us out. Fortunately we brought candles, etc. to get through the blackout.

    Hi Nancy: we are sorry to hear you were impacted by the 2011 Southwest Blackout, but we are glad it only impacted our area for 1 night. If you are not aware, the blackout was the largest power failure in California history, and unfortunately not something within our control. Our maintenance teams were working around the clock that night to get generators running to try and restore power on the 800 block of S. Pacific St to minimize the impact on our guests. We do not customarily perform check-in or check-in calls, since we use a keyless entry code system for our rentals.   It was very nice, being steps from the beach, but we didn't feel very safe. Screens were bent up, there were A LOT of people that would come sit outside of the "bungalow" to watch the ocean - not much privacy. Because we were worried about the frequent amount of people, we would lock up the windows when we left the property, and come home hours later to an uncomfortably HOT home that took quite a while to cool down. There were tiny fans in the bedrooms, but they didn't do much to cool the place down. Another thing - our socks were BLACK after wearing them in the house. VERY dirty carpets. We would never stay here again. I would have gladly spent more money to stay in a nicer place, but the picture on the website showed a very nice beach bungalow.

  The location of this property is right next to a walkway along the ocean, public entry to the beach. It was very busy and this was not even the height of the summer season. I felt like I was John Candy in the movie "summer rental" The beach in front of the property was un-usable.

  Be careful of the hot water. It takes a while for it to get hot then when it does, it's scalding hot. The linen on the beds were worn and the pillow cases had holes. Other then that, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Access to the suite is very easy and the beach is right there!

  Just a few minor adjustments would make the stay here much better. For example no matter where I stay I expect the towels and bath matt to be in good condition. Especially considering I paid over 3thousand dollars to stay at this location...the towels and bath rug are horrible. A quick trip to Target and for $100 you could bring the standards up to what they should be. (Doesnt seem like a major problem but when you stay somewhere for a week...its intolerable having rags for towels) Also they offered two small fans for the bedrooms but no fan for the living room (for the pull out couch) Which by the way the mattress in the pull out couch is so horrific I bought a blow up bed for my kids to sleep on) Also considering how hot it gets (since the unit doesnt have AC you might want to switch out the light fixtures in the bedroom for fan/light fixtures. They mention the ocean breeze can cool you off but the bedrooms are in the back of the unit so its not possible for the ocean breeze to cool you off.

  Have stayed here several times, love the location. Staff is always great. This time the bed linen was very musty smelling and couldn't open the side windows because we only had a view of a large stack of old moldy mattresses between the units. Very unappealing.
