  Always fun, watch dolphins 8:30 sharp squirrels are fat!!! Pelican named Charlie on the pier- 10 minutes from lego land and just a casual place!!! Love to be able to walk in with sand on my feet!! Kind of a fun experience!

  We stayed for 3 weeks so I brought my own plastic shelving to make to put food on and clothes. I was happy to see shelving in the bathroom it helped so you were able to put thing on. I would recommend having some hanging hooks by the door or bathroom to hang beach towels or sweatshirts or jackets. Other than that we had everything we needed. Yes I have recommended it to friends. The property was clean I would say a 5, the location a 5 the managers were a 5. They brought us over a cofee pot right away when ours broke. Very caring. We loved the fire pit. I hope that they don't tear the cottages down, as we plan to come again next year. Thanks, Sheila

  I hear that this particulr property is going to be torn down. I hope that you will have 1 bedroom beachfront rentals when you rebuild. Most of the rentals seem to be for large groups and it was nice to find a one bedroom on the beach.

  This place is right on the sand. It was wonderful to have the doors open and hear the ocean all day long. It was clean, very cute, and cozy. A perfect place for a a family with small children. The common area next door was great for kids to run around, making smores, and just hanging out. The price was great for being right on the beach. The only negative I can list was that we stayed over the weekend and there was a bit of foot traffic at night on the path outside the patio. Overall, great quaint place to stay.

  Will visit again for sure. Customer Service was unbelievably superb. When I needed something, it was delivered IMMEDIATELY. The bathtub didn't have I stopper - I HAVE to take bath's - a stopper was delivered in about 30 seconds. There was a power failure my first night (not the fault of Beachfront) and we all got dry ice delivered to us which was appreciated because I had $81. worth of rib eye steaks in the freezer.The only thing is that there is hardly any water pressure if somebody in another unit is bathing the same time you are. Also, carpet is not a good idea for a beach rental. You are either wet from washing off sand before entering the unit or someone is always tracking in sand. Again, in times when customer service is almost non-existent, These people exist for your every whim. Thanks for the best vacation I've had in a long time.

  We loved our 5 day get-away!We chose this destination so we could bring our dogs. We stayed in unit #9 and it had the most amazing view. We left the doors open for our entire stay and enjoyed the ocean breezes, squirrels playing in the rocks,dolphins jumping,surfers,sail boats, and children laughing. It was a great stay. I would like to mention though that this unit is listed as being able to sleep 4 comfortably, however the sofa bed is not suitable for 2 fact I found it very uncomfortable sleeping on it by myself. Also, if you bring your dog, bring your own food/water bowls.The unit is clean and well stocked, but the bathroom and kitchen floors could use a deep cleaning. There is not a dining area as pictured, but 2 tv trays and an outside picnic table that is quite weathered, so bring a table cloth and towels to sit on to avoid the splinters.This unit has a fenced in patio that was perfect. The shared firepit is wonderful and we met many nice people and roasted marshmallows with the provided skewers. It is surprisingly quiet and relaxing even with all the other vacationers. We would definitely stay again. But longer next time!

  This was the best rental in Oceanside. Right on the Pacific.
  
  I was very disappointed to see the Notice on the building informing of its impending tear-down. I don't care for the designs of the surrounding modern condominiums because they housed large noisy groups, did not have their patio right on the walkway, and were much more expensive than 835 #9.
  
  We were lucky to rent this unit while it still existed; thank you.

  Had an awesome 4th of July. Stayed at Bungelow for 7 days for my son's day. Perfect for family of 3!!!! Never had to eat out with the kitchen and grill. Loved the location.   Loved the location, liked waking up to watch the surfers. Great local coffee shop The Cup nearby. Spent 4 nights with 2 young boys, spent one day exploring the beach, pier and renting bikes. Very close to legoland which was nice as we spent 2 days there. Great stocked kitchen appliances, we ate in a few nights as it was easy to cook and relax by the fire pit at night.

  My husband and I just learned about this particular property in November last year. Since then, we have already stayed there twice and are scheduled to stay another weekend. We have told several of our friends and they too have stayed there. We LOVE this property and are very saddened to hear of them taking them down to put up larger units. We love to get away at least 3 times a year and this is the perfect getaway for a couple. The other units are for bigger parties and this isn't for us. Please say there will be more units available to rent from BEACH FRONT ONLY for the couples like us!! The property management staff are the most amazing individuals I have dealt with in a long time. They are always friendly and help with anything and everything. Thank you BFO for a wonderful weekend in Oceanside.

  Our week in the #9 bungalow in Oceanside was wonderful! Although the bungalow is small, it has all the comforts we could have asked for, including a picnic table and Weber BBQ in your private patio area, just steps away from the surf. We enjoyed our coffee each morning sitting at the picnic table watching the dolphins, seals, whales and surfers - incredible! Inside we found everything we needed to feel at home; the kitchen is well stocked, the bathroom good sized and the king size bed very comfortable. With weather in the 80's we did not need the heater, but heat and fans were available. We had a few concerns the first morning, called the rental office, and found the staff to be very nice and willing to go "the extra mile" to ensure our comfort and happiness. The only downside to the bungalow was the construction happening right next door which starts every morning at 7am. That disturbance was far outweighed by the positives of having a front door on the ocean complete with beautiful sights and sunsets. We could not have been happier, fully intend to go back again and to recommend this spot to our friends and relatives.

Staff was very prompt and helpful when needed, bungalow has all amenities of home, we loved the fantastic location and of course the ocean out the front door.   There should be an automatic shut off at 11 o clock. There was noise as late as 2 am. Also the hot water should have an anti scalding device on it . Could be very dangerous especially to children.

We do have a City noise ordinance in place for Oceanside at 10 pm, so the noise at 2am was unacceptable and we wish you would have called our office to report this.   Last year we stayed in Unit #3, so tried #9 this year - it was great, plenty of room, wonderful weather, and really enjoyed having our own patio. The common area worked great, as my daughter's families were staying in two of the other units - it is a great gathering place, and the firepit is good for the chilly nights. Will be back next year.

  This was are third time staying in bungalow # 9. It's all about location! Directly on the beach! Each day we saw dolphins; jumping in tandem out of the water, surfing the waves and jumping over the waves; incredible! Twice we saw whales within 500 yards of the shore. What a sight! Huge, magistic creatures. I just can not think of a better place to stay. My hats off to all the people at beachfrontonly; we had a problem opening the front door when we first arrived & they had a it taken care off within minutes. Needless to say, we will be back. Great vacation!

  We loved it. Even if we only had a beach area for one day. No fault of Beachfront properties, You can't change Mother Nature. Too many variables around the globe. Gave high waves. People that we talked to said this was the 1st. time in over 15 yr's. that the waves were so high. We have already booked the Bungalo next door because our daughter & family came for just one night & day and they loved it. So we rented the bungalo that sleeps 6, for next sept. one week later then we had this year. Can't wait. The girls at the properties (Nancy & Denise) were wonderful, I could call just to ask a question & I felt like I was talking to my friends that cared about my family and our vacation happiness, So THANK YOU. We will be comming back every year from now on. For either 1 of the 2 front bungalos depends on how many want to come with us. We had a great 1st. time at your properties & it was all we hoped for.   We stayed at this same property last year for my birthday and liked it so much we decided to make a return trip this year. We stayed in #9 which has a little fenced in patio. It turned out to be absolutely perfect for my 19 month old son who could wander around the patio and play at the picnic table without worrying about him - except for the 3 little steps that lead up to the door (but that was a small trade off for the location!) We just stayed two nights and I wished that check out was a little later than 10 am! I have heard that this property is slated to be torn down and replaced by those big mega-suite condos. This makes me so sad because the bungalows are such a great, classic beach getaway!! What a loss that would be.

  The location and view of this property is as good as it gets. The only problem we had at all was that the floor was shampoed right before we arrived and it was not dry upon our arrival with even the air blowing machine left in the living room.   Our communication with booking and extending our stay was fantastic. The staff was very helpful and great to deal with. Our arrival started out rocky with the door code not working but a phone call and super fast response, (a matter of a few minutes) thanks to Ramon and Hillary, we were settled in our room in no time. The views are breath taking. The calming of the ocean waves was so relaxing. I liked the fact that I could sit at the picnic table in our own yard and enjoy the scenery. Being so close to the ocean without having a road between us and it was like having your own private beach. There was the occasional jogger that jogged by on the sand path. The shower head and bed were great. The furnace in the living room was like a big comfortable hug on cool December mornings and evenings. The walk down the beach and out onto the pier to Ruby’s Diner was another awesome experience. The pace at the beach was very relaxing and easy going. Thank you, all at BeachFront Only, you all made our Oceanside holiday very enjoyable. #9 is an awesome location. Highly recommended. Definitely a California dream come true.

  Our room had incredible views from the deck and from our living room. It was also just the perfect size to be comfortable. Our only compaints, too much light and a lot of noise ccame into our bedroom from the adjoining courtyard. In fact, we had to tell people the people hanging out in the courtyard (well after 11pm) to quiet down so we could get some sleep. The big condo next door had tons of outdoor light that were on all night long, and it made it a challenge to sleep!

  Our family had a great time, we even were able to bring our dog. Best part was the close proximity to the beach, and most of the other vacationers we met were very nice. I did not like the smoking on the terrace - I know there is not much you can do, but it was not good to have the kids around it. Our patio umbrella was broken, and the staff replaced it right away, very efficient. Wish there was towel service though - it was so humid the towels were always moist and mildewy. We would definitely visit again - do you have any properties on the sand in Carlsbad or Encinitas?

  The property was fantastic - we enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing . . . the unit could really really use some ceiling fans. Although there is a nice ocean breeze when you leave the french doors open, you cannot leave those doors open at night when you sleep (as there is no locked screen) and it seemed excessively stuffy when those doors were closed. Otherwise, perfect.

  This little bungalow was surrounded by much bigger, much nicer properties. I imagined that all of the surrounding properties would be old and run down, but I was wrong. We chose it first for it's size since there were only two of us, and second for it's price. Unit #9 was facing the water. There were large rocks that the water came up to during high tide, but at low tide you could walk on the beach. It was a nice walk to the pier. The kitchen and bath had been updated. The bath needed some hooks, another towel bar and a shelf (pedestal sinks are pretty but need storage)! The chair bottomed out and should be replaced. I would stay here again in a minute, though. Loved the Hill Street Cafe.

  Unit #9 was very nice with one major exception. The entrance had no screen so we were literally inundated with flies all 3 days we were there. Because it was warm and the unit had no AC, leaving the front door open to catch the cool ocean breeze was the only way to be comfortable temperature-wise. All other units appeared to be screened. At the price we paid, we should not have had this problem. Even the screens in the bedroom was not installed to fit - another access to flies. Screens need to be installed at the entrance for the comfort of your tenants. Windows should be able to be locked and window screens need to fit securely.

  Trying all the rooms. Each has a benifit. But a wedding next door sort of ruined the first day. They took/used all our tables and we had to eat standing up. Then they left their trash so it was a wasted day, our first day only. We will go back as soon as possible. I also wish they had 2 tv's as dad and the kids had to trade off football and spongebob?Really need 2 tv's if you have kids.

  Our stay at beachfront was ok. The issues witht he windows was a big one for me. The bathroom window did not fit in the frame properly and left a rather large open gap. There were no curtains in the bathroom which was a huge factor. The windows in the rest of the unit do not lock and the blinds were broken (they would only turn one direction and when you tried to turn them they jammed). They view was beautiful but the rocks were somewhat in the way of the view. We probably won't stay here again.

    Beach towels have been checked, dishtowels replaced. We try and stock the kitchens with everything needed, but sometimes the kitchen size becomes a limitation. If a guest asks for something specific, we can almost always accommodate them by bringing whatever it is they need.

  Unfortunately there's not a comfortable piece of furniture in the unit - it is NOT the furniture pictured. A dorm-type foam chair, bad couch, bed that goes boing, no desk or table and NO smoke detector.

    We are sorry that you found this unit uncomfortable. We have replaced the "dorm-type foam chair" and the sofa bed with something more comfortable. This is a small one bedroom beachfront bungalow, and there really is no room for a desk or dining table, that is why we have set up the bar area to sit at, or use the coffee table. If you have any suggestions, please let us know. Smoke detectors are being installed in all of the bungalows.

  we've rented fron beach front only for many years and continue to be extremely pleased. the place was right on the beach. the interior has been very recently renovated. very well done. nice and clean. the public path way was 6 feet from our front double doors. problem was, you have to have the front doors open all the time to get any air flow since there is no air conditioner. also no screens on the doors so we were constantly killing flies. no ceiling fans. only 1 small oscillating fan was provided. tried to purchase additional fans but everyone was sold out because of the summer heat wave. we're from tx and thought it was warm during the day, we were told it had been unbearably hot this past summer. the 1 window in our bedroom was by the bed was where the public walk way was for all the people staying in our units. everyone who walked by looked right in. many smiled and waved. there was a black out curtain. if we used that, we roasted because there was no airflow. we did not swim in the ocean or lie on the beach. our vacation was reading and relaxing and chilling. we hung around our place so this issues were more significant to us than they might be to others.

    Thank you for your feedback. This year we did have some very unusual weather. Most of the time however, there is usually a very strong ocean breeze that flows right into #9. There are always extra fans available large and small by request. ~ The Team at Beachfront Only

  Very pleasant place to stay and we loved being that close to the ocean. Too few things to work with in the kitchen was my main complaint, othrwise, very nice.

We have a full time staff that could have brought over anything you needed in the kitchen that was not provided.   Everything was fine except for the carpets need to be cleaned and floor in the kitchen was way to slippery and my son fell 3 times.......besides that I enjoyed everything else.
